Jiaogulan often referred to by its scientific name Gynostemma Pentaphyllum, or "Southern Ginseng", is an herb native to Thailand and other various parts of South East Asia which made its mark in China where it has been consumed for centuries. In China, its ability to prolong life led to it being called the ‘herb of immortality’.
